SUPERSTARS OPTION FOR ALESSANDRA NERI?

On Sunday December 4, Alessandra Neri was one of the main characters involved in the 2011 SUPERSTARS prize-giving ceremony at the MotorShow in Bologna.

Awarded for the third place in the GTSPRINT championship (GTCup class), the young female driver is likely to be one of the front runners in next year’s contest “SUPERSTARS – Rookie of the Year 2012”.

After a 2011 GTSPRINT season not fully positive, Alessandra is evaluating many opportunities for the 2012 racing year. Two alluring “calls” came recently from the United States and Germany (both concerning GT racing cars and top teams); however, a national championship is not yet to be ruled out.

The possibility of switching to the SUPERSTARS SERIES remains one of the main thoughts for Alessandra: “Racing in the 2012 SUPERSTARS championship is a concrete but still distant possibility -  said Neri – many things are yet to be evaluated. I would certainly like to take over from Michela Cerruti, whose first fan I was in 2011!.”

The next event in Alessandra’s racing calendar is scheduled to take place on December 13 for a new winter test with Ginetta.
